Mikva serves thousands of youth each year, primarily from under-resourced communities. Our programs help young people learn the real-world skills of active citizenship through meaningful and direct experiences in our democracy. Mikva youth are more likely to vote, graduate from college, and participate in community life than their peers. Mikva teachers report that our programs improve their teaching practices and empower and motivate their students. Investing in Mikva Challenge not only makes a real impact on teens now, but also seeds a generation of thoughtful, engaged, ethical citizens and community leaders for the future.

Thanks to the support of a generous donor, your gift will be matched if:

  • You have never given to Mikva Challenge before,
  • Your last gift to Mikva was more than two years ago, or
  • You increase your gift.We hope you will also consider making a legacy gift to support Mikva Challenge civic education programs in the future. Please contact Kelly Rolf, Director of Development, at (312) 863-6390, for more information on planned giving opportunities.
