Apply for a Youth Voice Action Grant! Deadline Has Been Extended to This Friday!

Are you tired of your great ideas for improving your schools not being heard and ready to make that change?
On January 18th, Mikva Challenge's Citywide Youth Councils collaborated with 3 other organizations to launch the Youth Action Fund. All four organizations in total are providing $75,000 to catalyze youth-led social action and improvement in the city of Chicago. Mikva Challenge’s Citywide Youth Councils are providing $30,000 to the fund. That $30,000 is the Youth Voice Action Fund and is being released to fund student voice teams on the issues of health, education and safe passage that would function to improve their schools and communities.
The Youth Voice Action Fund has released an application for students to apply for $500-2500 grants to fund their teams. Grant applications must be filled out by students and returned to Mikva Challenge.
