Mikva Challenge Has Received a $25,000 Challenge Grant!

We want to tell you that we have our first-ever matching grant!

The Cohen Family Foundation and Steve Cohen, who is a member of our Board and Abner & Zoe Mikva's son-in-law, has offered a $25,000 dollar-for-dollar matching grant for every donation received between now and December 31st.  We acknowledge that times are challenging and we want make the most of all your support. Just as we're teaching students that participation counts, your help has allowed us to expand our action civics curriculum to 20 more CPS high schools, host our biggest Youth Activism Conference to date and run student peace councils in 6 high-need schools -- and this is just in the last three months!  Because of you and supporters like you, we've been able to empower more young Chicagoans this year to make their voices heard on the issues that most significantly impact their lives.
