Accepting Applications For Our New Out-Of-School Time Council
Mikva Challenge is currently recruiting young adults to become members of a new council focusing on out-of-school time. If you are interested in POLITICS, POLICY, and making CHANGE? Then we need you!
Who we are looking for? Young leaders between the ages of 18-22 who are interested in taking an active role in the future direction of out-of school time programs in the City of Chicago.
What you will do? Council members will:
- Partner with the Department of Family and Support Services(DFSS) on increasing the quality of OST programs
- Advocate to Lawmakers the need for an increased funding for OST programs
- Advise Commissioner Mary Ellen Caron, DFSS, on important OST policy questions
