Mikva's Suburban Pilot Kick Off Event

Yesterday, Mikva Challenge Suburban held their first major event, Elections Program Kick Off, at the Des Plaines Community Center. A whopping 92 students from eight suburban high schools, and representatives from five gubernatorial campaigns attended the event. Students participating in this program will learn the inner workings of elections and campaign work. They will also volunteer for Republican and Democratic candidates competing in the gubernatorial elections in February and November, 2010.
