President Obama recently sent a letter to Mikva's Youth Safety Council congratulating them on their work on youth employment this past spring. Read the President's full message to the Youth Safety Council below:

                Thank you for your letter. Hearing from young people like you who care about making things better inspires me and gives me great hope about the future of our country.

                I applaud your efforts in my hometown of Chicago. Our democracy is its most powerful when we engage all members of society, including young people, in constructive dialogue. I hope you continue to advocate for youth employment and other issues important to you and your peers.

                Again, thank you very much for your positive message and your dedication to making our country a better place for all youth.
