Education Council Launches Summer Blog

The Mikva Challenge Education Council launched a blog on Thursday, July 9th to reflect on their policymaking experiences this summer. The Education Council, one of Mikva's three Youth-led Advisory Councils to the City, advises Chicago Public Schools' CEO Ron Huberman on issues regarding young people and school reform. After gathering research about the health of schools in Chicago, the council is preparing a white paper to present to the CEO at the end of the summer. This white paper will propose a number of recommendations for dealing with some of the toughest problems facing Chicago Public Schools.
