Mikva Challenge Hosts Student Peace Campaign Kick-Off

At the day-long event, organized by Mikva's Youth Innovation Fund youth policy council, students attended several workshops where they were trained and educated on how to start peace projects at their schools.  This campaign launches a student movement to reduce violence and increase peace in Chicago schools and communities at a time when youth violence is at an all-time high.  Applications for mini-grants to fund these peace projects were given to students at the event.  Stay tuned for information on the grant winners!
