Civic Educator Network

The Civic Educator Network (CEN) provides professional development opportunities throughout the year to teachers on a variety of topics.  Mikva Challenge teacher grantees are invited to participate in the Civic Educator Network. CEN encourages a culture of support and increased political knowledge, while teachers share best practices in civic education with one another on how to teach students about civics/politics, advocacy and elections. CEN dinners take place quarterly at various locations throughout the city.
