Education Council Attends CPS Board Meeting

The Education Council sat in on their very first Chicago Public Schools Board meeting. There, Ed Council alum and current Summer Fellow Laurise Johnson delivered a speech to the Board with recommendations on stronger youth voice. CPS CEO Jean-Claude Brizard commended the council for its "instrumental" reports and excellent recommendations and said he looks forward to a new year with the new council.
