Thank you from Mary, Laurie, and Rachel Mikva

Dear friends and associates of Abner Mikva,

We want to thank all of you who have reached out to us and to our mother to offer support at this time of loss. Many of you also offered powerful tributes about our father, Ab Mikva. We are overwhelmed by the enormous response and grateful to all of you for taking the time to express your feelings and share your memories.  If you want to see some of the stories of lives he touched, or add your own, you can click this link.

Thanks also to our friends at Mikva Challenge and to the thousands of students, educators, staff and supporters who have made the program flourish. It is so appropriate that this organization bearing our parents’ name is helping to inspire the next generation to public service and leadership.

We share your gratitude for our father’s amazing life and legacy. We wish that we could thank all of you personally for your kindness.

Mary, Laurie, and Rachel Mikva

We believe there is a moment in people’s lives, often when they're young, that makes them excited and passionate about politics and their communities. Our Political Transformation Series is about capturing those moments and sharing them with the world to inspire more young people to follow that path.

Email inquiries@mikvachallenge.org if you would like to share your transformative moment with us.
